Always have been a fan of the beautiful watches this company made:
We've been working on this little Gruen for some time now. It started off as just a sad little movement that posessed an odd engine and one very pretty dial that kept its from being trashed.
This radium dial has a gorgeous patina to it with the original radium still on it. The movement as mentioned is very thin. Gruen was well renowned for their movements being much more compact than other companies, and this one doesnt dissapoint. The only downside was spending the few months to search out a case to house it, which we finally came across a few weeks ago. I really like the feel of this watch on the wrist. Being more thin than most of our watches gives it a modern wristwatch feel, just with a close to century old movement powering the whole thing.
