This is a watch that came out of a basement in Philadelphia and needed quite a bit of help. Its all original as far as I can see, and a magnificent survivor. Lots of cleaning, adjustment, and hard work led this little illinois back to recovery to be enjoyed again. The prettiest thing on this watch is the dial and it looks like someone silverplated the nickel case some time back. All original with the decision made not to clean it showing its original patina that its endured for 100 years. This is a great little watch, not too much of a story behind it but after giving it some tender loving care its become a reliable timekeeper again.
