If you place an order on our website, we get notified immediately. There are a lot of wheels that begin turning once your order is placed. orders take at least 5 business days to get the watch shipped.  In the age of next day delivery it can seem frustrating.  However getting an antique watch that is over 100 years old to ship is a hefty process:

Your watch is an antique, There is a checklist of procedures we need to do in order to ensure your watch is operating at 100% before it reaches you. All of our watches get checked out before they leave our shop, no exceptions.  we go through the entire watch, we check everything for accuracy. It is taken apart, inspected, and electronically timed. the watch is given a field test. The way this is done is old fashioned but effective: winding it up and letting it run for a minimum of three days.  If you need a watch faster than the time period allowed, please reach out to us before making your purchase.  otherwise the listed procedure above will go into effect. .  When your watch ships, you will be notified via Federal Express or through and email by us that your package is on its way with a tracking number.

My watch just came in the mail and its not working?

Here at Doughboy we make sure that every watch is checked out before it leaves our shop and is properly packaged for its trip.  However the people who ship our watches have a track record of not being so gentile with handling, this goes for all shipping companies unfortunately.  If you receive a non-working watch in the mail just send us a message and we will send you a shipping label.  All you have to do is put it back into the mail and we take care of the rest. .

REFUNDS

Doughboy Watches are non-refundable, no exceptions.  Make sure that you want to take on the responsibility of owning a piece of horological history before you commit to purchase.  We say this because each one of a kind watch is made for just one person.  There's something special about having the only one of its kind in the world.

How long does a repair take?

Depending on what is causing the fault in the watch, repair times can vary. . There are a lot of moving parts inside of your Watch.  Antique watches take a great amount of expertise to repair. we want to make sure its running the same way that it did when it originally left our shop.  since the watches can be up to 130 years old that we have in our inventory, finding parts can be tricky sometimes.  Just be assured that if your watch is with us we are working on it.  Repairs generally take a few weeks to return back to you  The most important thing to remember is that it takes time to repair a watch.  We appreciate your patience while we are diagnosing and fixing the fault.
